Meeting called to order by:
Board members present:
Park opens April 1, 2011 and closes November 1, 2011.
Park clean up is Saturday, April 2, 2011.
Repair the shelter house: Electric/roof/windows - allocated $15,000 for this project -
President John Helsel is contact.
Family picnic is Saturday July 23. See Mike Gischel (Patti).
BASH is Saturday August 20. See Jim Kusan or Wayne Thompson.
Cutting grass - Charlie Campbell will oversee - anyone wishing to help just ask - you will
be trained.
Weed wacking - Mike Gischel will oversee.
Ice - Charlie Campbell.
The only thing that can be parked under the Art Lewis shelter are Park items - tractor etc.
Area by the bath house will be graveled so as to allow for ease of launching and pulling
out boats.
WiFi is being handled by Wayne Thompson - Board will decide after all costs are submitted.
Driving of golf carts by those under age is discouraged - liability is the issue.
Board members are reminded that they must set the example - If a board member violates a
rule or rules how do you expect anyone else to adhere to them.
Need to fix the water problem by Carrs - will do as soon as Park opens.
There are 4 openings for campers and 1 for a boat dock - Mike Gischel is the contact.
Proposal: Openings for a camper site will be advertised for 2 weeks on the web page - If a
Park member wishes to move to an advertised spot you MUST contact Mike Gischel within
the two week time period - Park seniority will determine who gets the spot. You will have no
more than 10 days from notification to move - If you do not move within the 10 days you
forfeit the right to that spot and stay where you are.
New members will have 3 days to take the spot offered or lose the opportunity
The land across the street will hopefully be on the market this summer.
If you break something at the Park please let a Board member know immediately.
The locks for the bath house will be combination style - all members of the Park will get the
combo - please keep it amongst Park members - do not scratch it on a bath house door or
wall etc. - Bath house lights need to be turned off when you leave the bath house - we are
looking into automatic on/off eyes and might go to them.
We have new signs for the Park anyone willing to help put them up contact John Helsel.
Three trustee positions are open - will send out nomination request after March Board
meeting.
