| We can always use your help in keeping the park looking nice. You are always responsible for your own camping area, but if you can trim or mow your neighbors area, or any other common areas around the park (along the road and lake, around the shelters and bathrooms etc.) it would be greatly appreciated. |
| The park electric and water will be shut off the week of November 3rd. The shelter house bathrooms will close at the same time. Please clean up around your camper, secure anything that could blow away during the winter, and unplug your trailers electric cord. |
| The Fireman's Park Bash was a huge success. Our thanks go out to all of the people who worked hard and supported the park. Special thanks go to Charley for all of our signs, Ed for the tents, Rich Clemons for the dance floor, Dan Dick for the ice, Terry Trout for the T-shirts, Gene Brockmeyer and the Mill Dam Drive Thru, Gabby's Bar, Matesich Distributing, Trails West, the Bednarski's for the delicious chickens, and DJ Danny Mentel and The Paul Clark Band for the great music. | Bob and Jean Clemons are out of the hospital in Florida, both are in therapy and doing much better. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. |
| Letters have gone out to vote on the loan for the park. Please return them ASAP. The existing outhouses will be torn down the week of 11/10/08. We are hoping to begin construction of the new bath/showerhouse soon thereafter. |
