| We can always use your help in keeping the park looking nice. You are always responsible for your own camping area, but if you can trim or mow your neighbors area, or any other common areas around the park (along the road and lake, around the shelters and bathrooms etc.) it would be greatly appreciated. |
Park Information
Guests with campers or motor homes may only camp with the permission of a Board Member, and payment of camping fees. Tents are free as long as you are with a CFD member. All guest camping is on a temporary basis, determined by the board. Fireman's Park reserves the right to limit the number of guests and their tents, campers, or motor homes at any time. |
| Thank you to everyone who helped with the 2010 BASH, especially Susan Kusan, Wayne & Margie Thompson, Pete Thomas, Lee Collett, Blackburn and Chip & Mike Pritsel. Thank you to Jimmy & Linda King the Jim Tressel signed football. Together, they made $644 in the raffle. Thanks also to Mrs. Carr for her generous donation. This years BASH was the most successful yet, raising $3919 to be divided evenly, between the park and certain charities. The Fireman's Park Auxiliary raised $620 at the BASH by selling beer coozies and jewelry, which will also go towards projects at the park. |
| To be eligible to move, any current park member who is thinking of moving to a different camping spot within the park, must contact Mike Gischel at gishladder22@hotmail.com We do not know which spots will be available yet. The spots will be advertised here on the website as soon as we know. You will then be contacted in order of seniority in the park. |
| Fireman's Park now has a wifi signal to all areas of the park. The east side of the park should use "wirenet" the west side should use "wirenet1" If you are a member of the park and would like the password, email Wayne Thompson at wrt70@yahoo.com A big "thank you" to Wayne Thompson for getting the wifi up and running! |
| The bath/shower house now has new locks on the doors. Any park member can contact any board member for the combination. Remember that the bathrooms are for members and their guests only. Please do not give the combination out to anyone else and do not prop the doors open. |
